The reason why birds can fly freely in the air is because their wings can generate lift under the action of relative airflow.
Bird wings have good aerodynamic characteristics and streamline shapes. The front of the wings is round and even, the back is pointed tail, the upper part is convex, and the lower part is slightly concave. When a bird glides in the air, the air creates a pressure difference between the upper and lower wings. The velocity on the upper part of the wing surface becomes larger and the pressure becomes smaller; the velocity of the lower part of the wing surface does not change or slows down, and the pressure does not change or increase. As a result, there is a pressure difference between the upper and lower wing surfaces of the wings, resulting in an upward lift, which supports the weight of the bird and prevents the bird from falling down like a rock.
